Most of us have been taught in school that the fabric of life is made up of strands of DNA, twisting and linking together to give us life and our unique bodies. These simple strands make up millions and millions of unique people.
The clothing fabric you wear is also made up of strands, called Fiber.
The fiber can be natural, artificial, vegetable (yes vegetable) and metallic
Natural fibers are found in nature like cotton, silk, wool
Artificial or Synthetic fibers are polyester, nylon, so called "Faux" anything.
Did you know banana, jute, pineapple and bamboo also are woven into fabric....
Finally the metallic, gold, silver and aluminium what you see as Zari
So when you ask next time what is the material, expect the answer to be cotton, wool, silk, polyester, nylon, jute, or faux of any natural material.
Surprised,....yes because I did not cover the very popular chiffon, georgette, net etc....But there are not raw materials....so what are they??
